Joint activities (in AI governance) - Coordinated enforcement or compliance actions carried out by market-surveillance authorities, the European Commission, and the AI Office to promote compliance, detect non-compliance, and provide guidance concerning AI systems that pose risks across several Member States. The Regulation refers to such ‘joint activities, including joint investigations’ as part of the Union’s cooperative oversight framework. (EU AI Act, Recital 160; Arts 66(a), 74(11)).
