Defectiveness (Product Liability Directive 2024) - A product is defective when it does not provide the safety a person is entitled to expect, assessed objectively and taking account of software behaviour, cybersecurity, updates and interconnection with other products (Product Liability Directive (EU) 2024/2853, Art. 7).
